End Game (Animated Short)
This is just me teaching myself Blender and exploring the program.
All the line work and most of the text was animated on the computer, printed on paper, photographed, and re-digitized. Then it was composited with digital colouring, backgrounds, and effects.
This is just showing my love for pixelated, digital, retro-futuristic art, animation, film, and video games.
Thanks to anyone who's ever posted a Blender tutorial, there's so much great info out there that makes the program seem much less scary!

The next installment in the adventures of Pink Triangle. After Blue Square threatens to destroy a local porno theatre, Pink Triangle is roped into saving the theatre with the help of their buddy, Green Circle. This was a steep learning curve, but a lot of fun to make. Hopefully, I'll be able to bring a conclusion to this story soon.

Fred and Rose (2020) is a short documentary I made with some fellow students at York University in Toronto. It's a short character piece on Fred Day, who was a former drag queen named Rose. In this video, Fred recollects on his life, his childhood up north, and time serving as Empress XI for TICOT in 1998 right near the end of the AIDS epidemic.

So, here’s a video re-edit of Aneka’s ‘Japanese Boy.’ It’s a mix of two of her videos, scenes from Alan Resnais’s awesome film ‘Hiroshima Mon Amour’ (1959), and a few odds and ends. I even threw in a star wipe! I don't own the rights, just for fun, and laughs!!

Till Death Us Do Part The Black Widow (2012) is a suspenseful tale of one woman's revenge upon her deadliest enemy, her husband. This is my third year independent animated film at Algonquin College. It was animated by hand on paper, then digitized and coloured on the computer. I derived inspiration from classic film noir, and cartoon modern designs of the 1950's.

I wanted to do something iconic and sketchy before I head back to class in the winter. Personally this is more the direction i would like to take, but we'll see, as always I love to experiment, and try and push the boundaries.

Look into Retrowave and Synthwave. There a lot of artists out there doing modern 80s music.
@@Godzilla2000X I have! FM-84 and The Midnight are of high quality. Sadly most sound too cliche and not authentic, so I’m not interested in it. I would make my own songs as I have a music degree, but have zero idea how on how to set it up production side.

What a beautiful documentary, almost broke down in tears when Fred told the story about how his father was making the change to accept him, and didn't fear his identity, but the pain and loss he would feel if both Fred and Rose were lost to AIDS.
